After a long break DCS were back in action taking on Woodley Saints Reserves at Wargrave. Unfortunately the game ended in defeat for DC after conceding 3 goals without reply in the first half.

DC did put in an improved second half performance and managed to grab a goal back after Chris Taylor found space in the box just seconds after coming on as a substitute. However DC didn’t manage to reduce the deficit any further and the game finished 3-1. The game also saw the long awaited return of manager Richard Scaldwell from a horrible looking leg injury.

Man of the match for DC was skipper Neil Spackling.

Another bad day at the office for DCS after a 3-2 defeat to Purple Turtle at Wargrave.

Turtle took the lead early on after the ref gave a questionable penalty and then extended the lead when a blocked tackle released the Turtle striker clear on goal.

DC were awarded a penalty after Matt was fouled in the box which Jenson converted but conceded a third soon after. Steve Bell scored a goal of the season contender to make it 3-2 but DC couldn’t grab the all important third.

Man of the Match for this one was Steve Bell.
