v Loddon Rangers Res |
7-7 |
League |
This remarkable game
ended with DC throwing away a three goal in the last 20 minutes.
Simon opened the scoring early on before Jensen made it 2-0 shortly
after with a powerful header. Neil then pulled on back for the opposition
deflecting in a shot past Rory. Simon added another for the Steamers
before Neil scored his second...OG...with a crap attempted headed
clearance :-). Jensen scored his 2nd of the game to regain the two
goal lead. Unfortunately, defensive laxes gave Loddon a chances
back into the game which they took and both teams went in at half
time at 4-4.
Steamers started well and goals from Owen and Steve Bell took DC
into a commanding 6-4 lead. Simon then unknowingly reached an important
milestone by scoring his 100th Steamers goal in only 87 appearances.
Kevin replaced Jordy and at 7-4, Steamers somehow capitulated and
conceded 2 goals in 5 minutes (Not that it was Kev's fault). Chris
replaced Jensen for the last 10 minutes and DC conceeded an equalising
goal more or less on the final whistle.
