07/03/10
Home v Loxwood Park Rangers
5-2

League

DC were up against a physical side in Loxwood and recovered from an early set back when the opposition took the lead with a header at the back post. Steve Bell drew DC back level with a well taken header before Paul Kulpa scored with a deflected free-kick. Steve Barker made the score 3-1 with a shot from just inside the area whilst Simon added to his seasons tally with another tap in from close range. DC expected a tough start to the second half and got it when the opposition pulled a goal back with a decent effort. Steve Bell put the nail in the Loxwood coffin when his grass-cutter of a shot took a bobble and bounced over the keepers dive.

This week saw the demise of a third team in Division Two East with Woodley Saints Reserves following Cubin Linkz and Valley Park Rangers leaving the league. Fortunately, this has not effected DC's points and goals.
