DC Steamers opened their league campaign with a 1-1 draw away at Aura. DCS took the lead in the first half when an Andy Fookes corner was met by Matt Bovey at the back post. The resulting goal mouth scramble allowed Simon Langthorne to open his account for the season. DC could have gone further ahead but managed to squander some good chances during the first half.The second half belonged to Aura as they started to create a few chances and got themselves back into the match by scoring direct from a corner. Both teams created a couple of late chances but the match ended all square.
