| DC started the 2011/12 with a very well fought win at Loxwood Park Rangers with Shaun and Simon giving DC a 2-0 lead before Loxwood made a late comeback. Owen finished off some nice work from new signing Mike Wesley to secure the points late on. |

| DC were disappointed
to crash out of the County cup at the first round stage to a team
in a higher division despite playing with plenty of grit and determination.
Eldon took the lead inside the first few minutes as DC were cut
apart with some crisp passing and a neat finish. The game stabilised
and DC limited Eldon to a few further chances in the first half
before Gary had a half chance midway through the first half. Steamers
levelled as half time approached as Matt's headed pass found Chris
in the area. His half-volleyed effort pulled the Wargrave side back
level going into the break. Both sides continued on from where they
left off but Eldon took the lead when a disputable free-kick was
awarded and converted from 25 yards out. |
