| The Steamers finished the season on a high with a
convincing 5-0 win over Cavaliers. At 08:30 that morning, DC only had 9
confirmed players and had to count on the injured Wayne Makepeace and Rory
O'Neill to play. The game was close until Chris Taylor got his third of the
season, latching onto a left wing cross to slot home from close range moments
after missing a sitter. Rory O'Neill then scored with a very good header
before the teams went in for half time. Simon Langthorne then finished the job
with three second half goals
